I just got back from the SPCA with Julia and Dilbert was gone :( I’m happy he was adopted though. This weekend was spent entirely with Frank. We saw New Moon, and I thought it was a little better than Twilight, but still pretty awful. I need to get a haircut next week and today Kayla gave me her nice brown jacket to keep and I love it! They have Christmas decorations up in the outlets now and it’s getting me very excited for the holidays! On Wednesday I’m leaving for Connecticut for Thanksgiving with my cousins, and I’ll be back to work a 6 hour shift on Black Friday- wahoo :|
I’ve decided I’m going to write a book because I have a lot of good ideas. It’s going to be a book of short stories- no title yet. More details to come!
Used to live life with every word on my lips
middle finger to the world
and a song through my hips
Used to fall asleep in a bed of roses
give my love out in small doses
wake up in sheets of winter snow
a time when the world was my shadow
A disease spread through my veins
and took away my spirit
with everyone so blind
or too obstinate to hear it
So I sat in this house and decayed
that girl was dead;
too far-gone to be saved
Or so she thought
The spotlights here can burn holes through the stage
Down to the basement pass the Indian graves
Where the dinosaurs laid
Then out through China, nearly miss the airliners
Magnified times five, ‘less it’s pointed at the rhymer
Ricochets off the moon and sets the forest ablaze"
